Never make a promise you don’t intend to keep…
Mona Lisa St. James made a deathbed promise that she would do anything to save her mother’s art gallery. Unfortunately, not only is The Red painted red, but it’s in the red.
Just as she realizes she has no choice but to sell it, a mysterious man comes in after closing time and makes her an offer: He will save The Red if she agrees to submit to him for the period of one year.
The man is handsome, English, and terribly tempting…but surely her mother didn’t mean for Mona to sell herself to a stranger. Then again, she did promise to do anything to save The Red…

I am almost afraid to admit that this is the first book that i have read by Tiffany. Yes, I know, what the hell have i been doing !!! Fantasy/paranormal is not usually my thing however, I was really intrigued and loved the sound of this book and i am so glad that I picked this up.
Mona St James promised her dying mother that she would do anything to keep The Red – her beloved gallery afloat. With things going from bad to worse, desperation sets in and when a mysterious stranger appears with a proposition for her that will solve all her financial woe’s can she really say no.
Malcolm offers to save the gallery and in return all she has to give him is herself for one year and agree to submit totally to him. What follows is a number of encounters each one inspired by a painting from history. Each highly erotic, elaborate, fantastical and leaving Mona unsure whether it is all really real, is she dreaming it, is this all in her imagination?
As we go further through the story, it becomes evident that it is going to be really hard for Mona to let go. What will happen at the end of the year? How will things ever go back to normal? Will the gallery truly be saved?
As my first book by this author, this was one hot hot hot read. The scenes are all so descriptive and i actually found myself questioning the reality of it all on more than one occasion. I really enjoyed it, for me it was good to read something different and this was a great introduction to this authors work and i will certainly be reading more.
