sort of spark. Together, they wind up going on an adventure that takes them all

for the answer to her question.
Who is the dead guy in my trunk!?
Warning: This book contains some dark humor, a lot of witty banter, and two
characters making more bad decisions than good ones. Also contains adult
themes, language, and graphic sexual activity.
What drew me to this book was the blurb, who wouldn’t be intrigued by this “…….. if anyone asks, that’s all that’s in your trunk. Definitely don’t say anything about the dead guy you just found back there!” I couldn’t wait to get my hands on this, it sounded right up my street but i am going to be honest, and this might not be popular, but i got to 30% and nearly DNF. I felt like it was trying to hard, the dark humour just had me rolling my eyes and not laughing one bit and i found the characters, especially Jodi, annoying.
However, i have given this 3.5 stars so as you may have gathered, i decided to carry on and for me the book got better, much better. Jodi grew on me and i absolutely loved Archer. The book is one hell of a wild goose chase trying to find out how and why the body got into Jodi’s trunk and who the hell it is. I didn’t laugh out loud at this book but i did find myself smirking at some of the situations they found themselves in and how they got out of them.
This story is certainly different I didn’t love it but i didn’t hate it either, hence my rating. If you are looking for something quirky and fast paced then this is the book for you.
