Genre: Contemporary Romance

Duke of Manhattan, an all-new contemporary romance by Louise Bay is available now!!!

I was born into British aristocracy, but I’ve made my fortune in Manhattan. New York is now my kingdom.

Back in Britain my family are fighting over who’s the next Duke of Fairfax. The rules say it’s me–if I’m married. It’s not a trade-off worth making. I could never limit myself to just one woman.

Or so I thought until my world is turned upside down. Now, the only way I can save the empire I built is to inherit the title I’ve never wanted — so I need a wife.

To take my mind off business I need a night that’s all pleasure. I need to bury myself in a stranger.

The skim of Scarlett King’s hair over my body as she bends over . . .

The scrape of her nails across my chest as she screams my name . . .

The bite of her teeth on my shoulder just as we both reach the edge . . .

It all helps me forget.

I just didn’t bargain on finding my one night stand across the boardroom table the next day.

She might be my latest conquest but I have a feeling Scarlett King might just conquer me.

A sexy, standalone romance.

5 Stars

Well, Hello!!! That was a hot, hot book. Louise Bay really knows how to deliver a sizzler of a read. The pace was great, we had a little bit of angst thrown in and we also got to see some characters from previous books too. It was a whirlwind of a book with hot sex and plenty of witty banter and overall I loved it.

Both characters were fantastic. Scarlett is struggling to get back into the dating scene after her divorce. She loves her job running a fragrance company with her friend Cecily but there is nothing impulsive about her life until she decides to throw caution to the wind, encouraged by her sister, Violet and pop her post divorce cherry with a gorgeous man she picks up in a bar who turns out to be Ryder.

Ryder has built his own business from the ground up despite being born into British aristocracy. He’s a one night only type of guy – never getting attached. He’s charming, witty and as hot as sin and as strong in the bedroom as he is in the boardroom. When he is picked up by Scarlett, there is no way he is going to turn this gorgeous, intriguing woman down however, when they are faced with each other the following day in the boardroom, it becomes clear that this is going to be more than a one night affair.

When it becomes clear that the only way to save the business he built is to marry and inherit the dukedom, Ryder turns to Scarlett, who’s own business is in need of a cash injection and a mutually beneficial marriage of convenience is proposed. These things are however never simple and they quickly become more to each other than just a fake marriage although neither is willing to admit it.

I love Louise’s easy style of writing which pulls you in, I was literally hooked from the very first page. This was an easy 5 star read for me full of great characters and i can’t wait to read more from her in the future.
