From New York Times bestselling author Kylie Scott comes the second sizzling stand-alone novel in the Dive Bar series!
When his younger brother loses interest in online dating, hot bearded bartender Joe Collins only intends to log into his account and shut it down. Until he reads about her.
Alex Parks is funny, fascinating, and pretty much everything he’s been looking for in a woman—except that she lives across the country. Soon they’re emailing up a storm and telling each other their deepest, darkest secrets…except the one that really matters.
When Alex pays Joe a surprise visit, however, they both discover that when it comes to love, it’s always better with a twist.
She so didn’t disappoint, Alex and Joe have been chatting for months online, but Alex thinks it’s high time they meet in person. Little does she know that the man she thinks she’s been talking to isn’t who he says he is.
Joe having been talking to Alex for months but pretending to be his brother, has a big shock when Alex turns up at the Dive Bar as a surprise and Alex certainly gets the surprise of her life when she finds the out exactly who she’s been talking to for so many months.
I loved reading how this story turned out, even though Joe lies to Alex, she decides to give him a second chance and they become close friends. I loved seeing how their friendship just bloomed from there, and also the back story of the messages that they had been sending each other over the months. It just adds more to the story and had me gripped more and more.
We get to see everyone who was in Dirty make an appearance in Twist and I got all excited when you get some unexpected other characters appear as well! A book full of laughs and angst that had me completely hooked!
4 Stars from me!
