history. But it seems like history wasn’t done with me. The part where I lost
my heart to Matthew Hamilton? It was only the beginning…
I have sat here staring at my screen for the last hour not sure of what to say and how I am going to put into words how much I loved this book. To say I loved it does not feel enough somehow. Mr President was one of my favourite reads of 2016 and what a fabulous start to the new year it has been with Commander in Chief.
This book picks up on inauguration day, 2 months after Matthew Hamilton won the election to be the 46th president of the United States. Election night was the last time he set eyes on Charlotte as she escaped to Europe to put some space between them – she is in love with the now president of the United States and can’t see any way that they can be together. For Matt, it has been two months too long away from the woman he loves, the woman he intends to make his, his first lady. He can’t be commander in chief without her by his side.
If its possible, I loved Matt more in this book than in Mr President. His love for Charlotte shone through every page. He was a complete alpha male but at the same time he was sweet, tender and oh so sexy and i am not ashamed to say he had me swooning on more than one occasion. Charlotte was strong, focused and completely devoted to Matt as the president but also as her lover and then husband. They were the perfect match for each other.
Katy took us on a beautifully written, engaging journey through their life together at the White House. We saw their love for each other build and evolve, their passion electric, steamy but also intimate. This was another phenomenal book and a fantastic conclusion to Matt & Charlotte’s story.
Journal bestselling author. Her debut REAL shot to the top of the bestselling

bestsellers. Her books have been translated into nearly a dozen languages
across the world.
