This blurb really had me so excited to read it but once I actually started reading it, it fell a bit flat for me.
Marco and Isabella connect after Isabella’s husband dies, but also Isabella’s husband Jorge is Marco’s brother. There seems to be so much sex in this book but not much of a story, if there had been more substance and drama I probably would have enjoyed it a lot more.
Isabella just seems to be a very boring character, I understand being a submissive and giving herself over to Marco, but it just seemed like this book had a very different message. It didn’t come across as submissive to me, it came across as controlling. I’ve read books like this in the past and those books worked for me so I’m not overly sure why this one didn’t,
I didn’t connect with the characters or the story but I’m sure this is just me and my opinion. Others may connect with it more than I did.
