Moonshot by Alessandra Torre – Release Blitz & Review

Baseball isn’t supposed to be a game of life and death…

The summer that Chase Stern entered my life, I was seventeen. The daughter of a legend, the Yankees were my family, their stadium my home, their dugout my workplace. My focus was on the game. Chase … he started out as a distraction. A distraction with sex appeal poured into every inch of his six foot frame. A distraction who played like a god and partied like a devil.

I tried to stay away. I couldn’t.

Then, the team started losing.

Women started dying.

And everything in my world broke apart.

5 stars – intense, sexy and full of angst, the perfect recipe for a great book

I love it when a book grabs me from the start, has me up until the early hours because I can’t put it down and this latest book from Alessandra certainly did that, I absolutely loved it. This had everything, in my opinion that a book should have; a bad boy that I’m not supposed to like but I do, angst, heart poundingly intense romance and with the underlying suspense and mystery this is certainly not one to be missed.

Tyler (Ty) Rollins grew up on a baseball field. After her mother died, her dad took her on the road with his team and now at 17, ball girl for the Yankees, there is nothing that she doesn’t know about baseball. Chase Stern is a rising star with the sexy bad boy reputation. Women throw themselves at him, drugs are offered to him and he is destined to make some bad decisions, one of which has him ousted from the Dodgers and on a plane to New York, to the team he has always dreamed of playing for.

Ty & Chase are drawn together. Ty has been warned off by her dad and Chase knowing her age, tries to shut off the way he feels but they just can’t stay away from each other and embark on a forbidden romance; hidden liaisons, stolen moments it is intensely passionate but sweet and almost innocent until they are torn apart by a series of miscommunications leaving them both devastated.

Fast forward 4 years and both their lives have changed but neither has forgotten what they had, what they were to each other and staying away is impossible.

As a teenager, he had corrupted me. As a woman, he had ruined me.’

Alessandra has given us another read that will draw you in, keep you wondering with the underlying mystery that is running alongside this beautifully written, intensely passionate, heartbreaking and sexy angst filled story that will captivate your heart right from the start until you turn the last page.
